So it's been a great memorial weekend so far! A fun trip to IKEA on Thursday afternoon, then to the Baltimore Aquarium on Friday w/the hubs and kids, late spring gardening and fun shopping today, and who knows what else the weekend will bring. These precious family moments completely make up for last weekend's horrible Toronto trip. Had you wondered why I hadn't blogged about it? Ugh. I was still recovering all week from the trauma! Sleep-deprived, screaming kids who wanted their own beds and rooms made mom and dad miserable all weekend long. Not to mention we ended the trip with a missed flight. Who knew Sunday was Canada's biggest holiday and travel day? It took four hours, instead of two, to cross the border back to Buffalo. Never again! We're not traveling until next summer. Elizabeth will be 2 1/2 then and should be easier to travel with by then!
Anyways this weekend has been so fun. Here are pics in no particular order!
Hiding behind some flowers...
Fun with bubbles!
She loves to play dress up and stare in the mirror...
The beautiful Anglican church in Toronto where Jack got married...
The exhausted fam!!
Catching butterflies with Elefun!
Our hotel room in Toronto, and the crib in which no one wanted to sleep. :(
So happy I haven't killed these yet! LOL
The crazy rose bush that climbs both decks in the backyard. Wish it weren't so full of thorns! Makes it hard to let the kids play on the deck...
Wish this one came out clearer - we had so much fun at the Aquarium! We heard lots of "There's a stingray!!" that morning. :)
Alrighty my brain is fried, better get to bed. Ciao!
You poor thing. The girls Do look exhausted in the family picture from Toronto! The hotel room and church looked beautiful, though - too bad you couldn't enjoy those more :) Glad you could recover from Toronto over Memorial Day. Love you! - Faith
