Just glad it was a beautiful day for Easter service!

Millie's dress and croup

Tomorrow is always a new day.  Thank God for new mornings and new mercies!

 So in the midst of the chaos here, I finished sewing my first dress ever. 

I picked a super easy pattern (which I still almost managed to mess up!) and I think I'll use it for Em's 4th birthday party.  (Excuse the need for ironing!)

 Emilie wants to dress up as Millie (the girl in pink) from the cartoon Umizoomi.

So I still have to make her headband!

And make Eliz's dress as GEO.

On another note, nothing speaks spring more to me than the color purple.

And last but not least, the little girl - crying, fussy, pukey girl - who is recovering from the croup.

Her fever broke but she's still not out of the woods yet.

Ugh

Last night: Eliz spikes 102.6 fever
Emilie is finally better after 8 days of coughing and vomiting and croup
This morning: Jee out at 6:45am to lead early morning worship
Kids up at 7am with 101 fever
10:45am - Marriage discipleship class at church
11:45 - Jee back at church to lead main worship
4-6pm - Missions training for Jee at church
7pm - Dinner with Jee's aunt from San Diego
Meanwhile I'll be at home with a very sick child. 
I am exhausted.  This has not been fun.

Cork Board & Blessings

 I turned a cute picture frame into a cork board today, and added flowers...

And added a timely reminder that, after a week like this week, is good to hear:

 These girls are my precious gifts from God, my BLESSINGS...

sick or healthy, whiney and crying, or not.

But, oh, how I cannot wait for spring/summer - and GOOD health - to really arrive!
