I cannot believe it's already May!
We lost most of April to one cold after another...
And now we've reached the end of the school year - I'm still in shock!
Emilie is changing SO much these days... just growing up so fast!
She is aware of so much...understands so much... she looks so old to me now! :(
She turns 4 in a few weeks. I can hardly believe it!
I've been stressing about her birthday party....these things should not be stressful, but I know how much birthdays mean to her and I want her to just have the time of her life. ;-)
So I'll spend the next 2 weeks staying up late finishing Umizoomi costumes and figuring out decorations!
On another note. We had fun with daddy's candy today! (Sorry honey! Don't eat them when you come home!)
Emilie is finally getting one-to-one correspondence (associating the number one with one object)... horray!
Supposedly that can't be taught.. but you must wait until the kid's brain develops enough...
Eliz already gets it. Math comes easier to Eliz than Emilie... but here, she'd rather squish the candy. :)
We had fun today painting this bench. It was red, and Emilie helped me paint it white.
(You wouldn't believe this used to be a console table. I took a hand saw - yikes! - and hacked off the bottom. Wahoo! I felt like a.... lumberjack?)
Night night!
